Comments from Fans:

"I so enjoyed your performance at Jazz Under the Stars at Spring Mountain Park. What a show! It was a real treat to see and hear you with Kim Waters and Steve Cole. The Sax Pack--What a trio! I especially liked your enthusiasm, presence, and congeniality with the fans. You're very personable! I was impressed that you took the time to autograph my "simple truth" CD and even personalized it. Thanks for taking the time to speak with me as you signed. You're an incredible showman and a real gentleman. Thank you for a great performance."
-- Arthur G. Eggers, Las Vegas, NV

"The chemistry of these three headliners is apparent on stage and off. I would never have imagined them together, and it's so obvious that they are a perfect combination. I'm so glad I was able to get tickets to this sold out show!"

"HOT! HOT! HOT! (and I'm not talking about the weather either)! Musically, you guys were beyond amazing and everyone played their hearts out! But it was your playful relationship with each other on stage that made the show more intimate for those of us that only dream of having such awesome musical talent. Living vicariously through all those saxophones was fun too!"
-- Sandra V., Las Vegas, NV

"Paul Cross and Katey Cole from 101.7 The Horizon had the pleasure of introducing three extraordinary musicians for their debut performance of The Sax Pack at San Felipe's Hollywood Casino on Saturday night, May 15th. What a grand debut it was! Jeff Kashiwa, Steve Cole, and Kim Waters made their first flashy appearance dressed to the nines with saxophones ready to play--and the audience was more than ready to listen! The full house got to their feet as soon as the three appeared..."

"The energized musicians thought their night of smooth jazz was over, until a boisterous and excited crowd brought the three great players back for an encore-- which they were happy to provide. All in all, it was two hours of pure enjoyment for those who love these talented saxophonists!"

"This was the first time I've seen any of these artists and have to admit that I was blown away by each! Kashiwa explained how he is a fan of both Cole's and Water's music and he personally invited each to join him on this tour just so he could play their music. There was such camaraderie between the artists, it was evident that these guys are not just touring together -- they are friends, too. They were also backed by one of the best bands I've ever seen. If you get a chance to check out this act, don't miss it! Each artist connected with the audience in his own unique way with his own unique style of performing and individual musicianship. The harmonies between the sax sounds were jaw dropping. I'm not sure who had more fun during the show the artists or the audience."

"The brain child of Jeff Kashiwa, Sax Pack was a study in contrast and synergy. Jeff plays with graceful elegance, Steve Cole with glorious abandon and Kim Waters with sophisticated soul. The overall effect, with its unusual combinations, exuded compact power. For instance, the Kashiwa-Waters duet "Peace of Mind" was absolutely gorgeous, a guaranteed hit. Look for it on Kashiwa's upcoming August release. Steve Cole's passionate rendition of "Our love", introduced in true gospel fashion, could have converted anyone. We did indeed "believe" at the end of this show stopper. This guy's got pipes...and sensitivity. The Sax Pack was such a potent mixture, you wanted to bottle it. Maybe a good idea for a CD project?"
